Treasurer Russ
Peterson BSAC Dive Leader
Farewell to
|
Russ learned to dive in his native Colorado in the late 1990's. He runs a tight financial ship which has ensured that the section is one of the KBBC's most prosperous. The income generated from the club's dive trips are ploughed right back into the club and pay for the servicing of equipment and purchase of new gear. Russ ensures that this all works smoothly. |

Secretary Marcus
Sarginson BSAC Club Diver "My
wife persuaded me to take up diving in 1999; she was keen to learn, and
wanted to share the experience with me. We both joined the Lowestoft
branch of BSAC, and did our Club Diver training in Egypt (Hurghada) and
England (in Alton Water, a cold and murky reservoir near Ipswich). Since
moving to Brunei two years ago I've been a (fairly) regular participant in
PSAC's trips to Brunei's offshore oil production platforms. I have been
secretary of the club since last year." About
to lose (yet another) piece of gear!! 2003

Welfare Officer (2006) Roy Buchan BSAC Sports Diver
There's an old saying "If you want somebody to do something, ask a busy person!" The Panaga Club is run by a small percentage of the population doing many tasks, and Roy does more than most. A graduate of the 2006 Kapalai school, Roy is already on his way to Dive Leader, and the job of Welfare Officer is most appropriate in view of his children, Andy and Heather, who are as keen on diving as their father.
