Platform Fishes

Fish or fishes? A school of fish must be of one species. If there are more than one species present, then the school is of fishes, no longer fish. So now you know. I don't think the same logic applies to sheep!

Terminology: In principle (and with enough time), we'll give each of the fish below their correct taxonomic name like Pomacanthus anularis instead of Blue-ring Angelfish. The latter names are variable throughout the world, and in South-east Asia, where Australians call groupers, rock cods, all manner of conflicting names are possible.

These photographs were all taken on the platforms. They are not masterpieces, they simply serve to help the diver identify what was seen on a dive, and to illustrate the diversity of species.
