Introduction to SO Exam.

For your information, let me tell you that both the IBPS SO exam and SBI SO (State Bank of India) exam are online exams. Talking about the criteria of these exams, you must be an Indian citizen to appear in the SO exam.

The age of the IBPS candidate should be between 20 years to 30 years and if we talk about State Bank of India, then the age limit is from 21 years to 30 years and age relaxation is also available within it.

Ibps SO exam: 

Agricultural Field Officer: means to apply for Scale I, the candidate must have a 4 years graduation degree in the field like Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering.

Official Language Officer: means that for Scale I, the candidate must have a Postgraduate degree in Hindi and must have studied English as one of the subjects in the graduation, or PG degree in Sanskrit with Hindi and English at the graduation level. Candidates studying English subjects are also eligible for this post.

To apply for IT Officer Scale I, the candidate must have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, IT, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, and Electronics & Instrumentation JC. Apart from this, graduates who have passed DOEACC “B” level can also apply for this post.

To apply for HR/Personal Officer Scale I, one must have graduation degree with full time P.G degree OR P.G Diploma in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, HRD, HR, Social Work and P.G Diploma in Labor Law.

Applicants for Law Officer Scale I should have Bachelor’s degree in Law and should also be enrolled as Advocate in Bar Council.

Marketing Officer: Scale I candidate should have completed M.M.S Marketing, MBA in Marketing, PGDBA, PGDBM, PGPM, or PGDM.

For the post of Assistant Manager means that the applicant should have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronic and Instrument, Electronic and Communication, BE or B.TECH in any one of these.

For Developer Test Lead & Tester Post, candidates should be Graduate in Engineering from Government Recognized University and that candidate should also have some experience in IT (Information Technology) Sector.

Manager & Assistant Manager (Technician): For this post, one should have P.G degree in Econometrics, Statistics of Applied Statistics in any one of these three and should have at least 1 to 4 years experience.

For Technology Relations Manager post, the candidate must be a graduate in engineering from a recognized university and MBA candidates are preferred. For this post, it is necessary to have at least 8 years of experience in the IT industry or business.

Application Fee of IBPS exam SO and SBI exam SO.

The fee for IBPS SO exam is ₹ 600, while the application fee for SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Serviceman category candidates is ₹ 100.

The application fee for SBI SO exam is ₹750 while there is no application fee for SC, ST, PWD category candidates.

About bank SO exam pattern.

There are 3 stages in IBPS SO Exam which are Pre Exam, Main Exam, and Interview. There are 150 objective type questions in the pre exam and this paper is in both Hindi and English languages. There are three types of questions in which the first is English Language, Reasoning, and the third is the General Awareness section, which depends on the post. Duration of this exam is 2 hours and there is negative marking also. Those who qualify the pre exam can appear for the main exam which consists of a combination of questions of type descriptive and objective type according to the post.

The main exam for these posts consists of a single section consisting of 60 questions and its duration is 45 minutes and the medium of this exam is both Hindi and English. Whereas the Mains Exam for Rajbhasha Adhikari Post consists of two sections consisting of 45 objective and two descriptive questions and its duration is 60 minutes in which 30 minutes are allotted for each section, in which the medium is both Hindi and English.

The candidates who clear the mains exam are shortlisted for the interview and training is also given to the selected candidates in the interview.

Now talking about SBI PO exam pattern, every year SBI conducts exam for SO post which is online, its selection process includes online written test and interview. This exam is divided into two papers. The first paper of this objective type paper consists of 50 questions from Reasoning Ability, 35 questions from Quantitative Aptitude and 35 questions from English Language.

The second paper is of professional knowledge in which 50 questions are asked. The relation of first paper is 90 minutes while the duration of second paper is 45 minutes. There may be variation within the questions of the recording in section of the post. In which exam there is also negative marking, the language of this paper is both Hindi and English.

Let us also tell you that there are three sections in the post of Deputy Manager, in which there is no Quantitative Aptitude section. In SBI SO Exam Result 70% result is the score of written exam and 30% of the interview. After the interview, the selected candidates are also given training.

Salary Package for Bank SO.

The gross salary of IBPS SO ranges from 38000 to 39000 per month, they also get Newspaper Allowance, Medical Allowance, Entertainment, House and Furniture Allowance.

The gross salary of SBI SO ranges from 42000 to 51000 per month. This variation of salary is according to the post and they get many facilities like Medical Facility, CCA, PF, DA, and HRA.
